Time for Knoxtronica's second Local Review. We have a very special Knoxville artist today, FunsizEd, who's sets have always been full of energetic dance beats. First playing in underground parties and recording mixes at home, he began to take his music into different directions and found his groove with fidget house along pushing other styles into his sets. Sense then he has quickly began to gain attention and crowds at shows in 2011 and playing some really good sets at Midnight Voyage this year.
The mix released today through Knoxtronica Presents by FunsizEd is bursting from the sides with bouncing beats and fat bass. Even for a fidget house mix I like how you can hear different style influences from the old school horns that come in towards the middle of the mix to the more fast, club-style bass sounds at the end of the mix. He knows how to bring the dance and hype into his sets. The last show I was at he started playing and the and almost right off the first track people started filling the dance floor. Besides from his FunsizEd music he has a page on Facebook that I thought was very awesome called Funomenal which is best described by him as "A monthly electronic party which features a wide variety of electronic music, but with a focus on bass!" I believe there is alot to come from FunsizEd in 2012 and if you don't believe me download the free set yourself and try not to dance!
